I have the great pleasure to welcome you Scottsdale, Arizona and the Doubletree Resort Paradise Valley for our 17th Annual Meeting of the Corrections Technology Association. Our CTA Board has been very busy putting together a great agenda for the 2016 CTA Annual Technology Summit. This year’s theme is “CTA: An Oasis in the Desert”. We are excited to have you join the conversation!
Our agenda for this year is an exciting expansion over previous conferences to include the major technology topics which challenge our unique community of practice. CTA brings together both Practitioners and Business Partner members to share knowledge and experiences based on best practices. These high-value discussions include lessons learned, new innovations and other relevant issues that are critical challenges to Corrections.
As always, make sure YOU are part of the conversation! Make the most of the collaborative opportunities available this year to interact with our CTA Business Partners who provide the resources and support for what we do on a day-to-day basis. These resources are dedicated to the mission and goals of CTA and we want to express our genuine appreciation to all of you for helping to make our annual meeting a continuing success!
In addition to the presentations and networking opportunities, please be sure to enjoy the scenery of the Phoenix area and take note of the various social events including the opening day Welcome Reception, the Casino Night, and our infamous Karaoke night! CTA has several other exciting events including a golf outing and, to work off any extra winter weight, a 2 mile fitness around the Scottsdale area at sunrise!
We look forward to seeing you in May! Please be sure to follow us on twitter @CORRTECH2016 and tell everyone what’s happening at the CTA Summit through twitter at #CTA2016!
